Because, play with incredible connection problems imrpove the player skill? The latency ingame is terrible, Dust 514 right now is one of the worst multiplayer experience that I have proven. This betatesting is something like Ghost Recon: Future Soldier multiplayer test. Obvious connection problems from some countries, men+¦ mecchanics issues really problemtic and also others ingame problems that make this game a frustrating experience for the community that has waited years.
In my personal opinion, DUST 514 ins't even ready for a closedbeta like this.
its closed beta so your argument is invalid
you must be used to playing the battlefield call of duty beta where the game is already finished and you are playing a glorified DEMO
the sooner you stop crying about how the hit detection and latency problems are screwing up your KDR the better
the game is broken we know
hit detection sucks yes we know (im guessing you didnt play the last build) hit detection was damn near non existant
there are things that are OP yes we know
spawn locations suck...yes we know
and another thing
why isnt closed beta ready for this? the more people you have testing the game the better
stop acting like you know wtf you are talking about im pretty sure you have never been paid to develope a video game
this isnt some press release that allows people to nitpick and critique the mechanics
you are here for one resaon and on reason only
and thats to test and report bug findings and make suggestions (or did i miss somthing)
so stop jumping up and down screaming and yelling like a spoiled girl and sit down shut up and test the game
better yat if ya dont like it...leave
Remains the problem that DUST 514, in the current progression of works, isn't ready neither for community's closedbeta. Because there're industrial quantities of problems. I don't wanna discuss regard the works behind DUST 514, but before us someone have tested the videogame, personnel who is paid to do so. There're men+¦, gameplay, mechanics, infrastructure, and connecttions issues: some irrelevant (Something that you can expect) and some that are
fatal. Betatesting is supposed to gather game's feedbacks: from gameplay to things like social experience, and also to remove and fix technicals problems. This to improve the game and the experience before the market launch. But to complete the job, the community, requires at least a minimum base of working contents.
Example: the character in DUST 514 need training for everythings like EVE Online. Then, what if part of community's tester can't access the skill training? This problem is terribly problematic in a videogame where equip everything requires a skill book. There're some discussions regard this bug, but not a mention.
My experience in closedbeta testing started in 2005/2006, and in my opinion DUST 514 haven't the requirements to move in community's beta phase, because the game lacks in
everything. And CCP with the current progression of works is also selling AUR and the Mercenaries Pack in the Playstation Store.
Btw, if testing a videogame mean:
stop jumping up and down screaming and yelling like a spoiled girl and sit down shut up and test the game . Then, ok bro let's play without write nothing about the whole status of the game. Because, messages like this one are also feedbakcs that CCP should be consider.
